After wasting a week uploading songs to Blip.fm, i’m here to tell you that it sucks and i’m officially over it. It’s just plain shoddy. You can’t shuffle your tunes, the low-grade files it plays sound like they’re recorded inside a soda can underwater, there’s no way to know whether or not you already have a song when you’re loading new ones, and finally you only seem to get “props” within 1 minute of actually loading a song to your library. That just seems strange to me. Why wouldn’t you get props on a song a day or week later? If anyone has the skills to make a better site, give me a call. I would love to help.
So anyway, i’m looking at the back-end of this blog just now and realized that you can upload MP3′s right here. It would be nice if the file showed up as a sweet little icon on the page, but thats just one of several minor complaints about the layout of this FREE WordPress blog. I’m sure we’ll upgrade it soon…..
Here’s a song I haven’t heard in years and just found when I was cleaning up some stuff the other day. Is it strange that I love reggae music so much, but barely ever listen to Bob Marley? The old Bob and the Wailers tunes are top notch and i’m glad I rediscovered this old disc.
