Soul Jazz Records and Beth Lesser bring us this book with hundreds of photos capturing the early days of Dancehall in Jamaica. If you have this CD, you know it gets down to business. Now we have a chance to also own the images that bring us a more in depth look at the fashion, music and lifestyle straight from yard. More info available HERE.

These are nice for looking classy this Spring and Summer, but lately the minimal stuff is boring me just a little bit.
I know everything is cyclical and this is a natural reaction to all the craziness from a few years ago, but this stuff all starts to blend together to me. Anyway. I would still rock any of these for the right occasion….
Looks like our Puma collaboration just landed at the first spot – Mita Sneakers in Japan.
They really took some great photos of these two colorways. We have them all posted after the break.
I know the grey ones have been produced, but maybe not making it to Asia?
Scheduled to release here on this website and other shops in the U.S. on February 15th.
I’ll post a complete list of shops here when I get it.

When I first saw the Vans OTW catalog, I thought it was primarily an attempt to get back some of the sales that were going to Supra. Now it seems like it’s expanding and diversifying a little bit.
These hemp Woessner’s are a little too low profile for me. I’m not that hip. Some of you are. You’ll probably like these.
I was watching a show called Million Dollar Rooms the other day and one of the featured places was this Winn Boathouse in Michigan.
This amazing boathouse belongs to the owner of Four Winns Boats. The combination of the design, the wood used, the restored vintage boats, and the new technology applied to this dream space, make this my favorite out of all the places featured on that program. Click the link above to learn more.
I really had no business going to the cd store and blowing money on a few albums when i’m literally sitting here right now surrounded by hundreds, but I love going to a place like Norman’s Sound and Vision to hang out for hours just digging around. This is what I picked up today. As you can see i’m still knee deep in the funk and trying to complete the collection of Larry and Fonce Mizell produced albums.
I’m gonna explore these tomorrow.
